Corkscrew Pasta with Sausage, Pesto, and White Wine Marinade

Short for ideas this week and wanting something different, I made this dish for my husband and me. You can certainly make your own pesto. However, we bought ours at the hummus bar at Wegmans. I simply doctored it up a little for a little kick. A hearty dish which would be great for the fall too!

What you need:

* Box of tri-colored corkscrew pasta

* Package of Sausage links

* 4-5 Tablespoons fresh pesto

* 2 cloves garlic

* 2 Tablespoons butter

* 1/8 cup of white wine (any leftover white wine will do)

* parmesan cheese

Fully cook sausage in skillet until fully cooked. (Husband showed my a little trick of cutting them lengthwise in half once browned  and laying flat in pan.  If you slice them before cooking...they fall apart.

Cook box of Rotelle according to box.

In small pan melt butter, crushed garlic, and white wine until wine is reduced by half.

Strain pasta, add pesto, white wine marinade, handsome dash of parmesan, and sausages. Mix throughout and serve immediately.
