Bad for the Bugs - Good for the Skin

There are so many new products out that do the job AND are safe. So why are more people not trying them. With summer outings come bugs and mosquitos. We've had an active July and August where a lot of events are outdoors. The last thing I want to be putting all over Abigail are toxins to keep the bugs away. Perhaps the bite would be better than the prevention? So while spring was still here, I went and picked up a small tin of Badger Anti-Bug Balm.  While I still did not put it directly on HER skin yet, although I did my own, I did dab it on her clothes and stroller if we were outdoors in the later afternoon when the bugs wanted to join in.  I'm sure there are a lot of natural ones out there that are all good. I am just glad they are on the market, and we have a choice.  When I went to camp years ago...you bought either OFF ( full of chemicals!) or if you wanted to go alternative:Skin So Soft..which smelled nice..but didn't always work for me.

The nice thing about the Badger Anti-Bug Balm..is that it IS a balm. Which means:

1) I can toss it in any diaper bag, purse, or pocket without having to worry it's going to leak or spill.

2) Instead of dousing my whole body with bug spray, I can dab a little on exposed skin every few inches with just a fingertip...and it seems to do the trick!

I just have to remember to do it!
